I have heard that office depot uses linux..
I am in a bit of a debate with someone on another board and could use some ammunition to show that linux is capable for the workplace.
Thanks,
kuber

http://www.dwheeler.com/oss_fs_why.html is a lengthy essay on this topic.
http://www.linux-mandrake.com/en/ has a news section at the bottom, with links. Some of these links are news URL's with similar stuff on it.
http://www.internetweek.com/ebizapps01/ebiz071601-1.htm tells about one company which is switching to linux.
http://lwn.net/daily/ is a place that gives daily linux news, and has had items like this.
A few days ago, there was a news item that Ford Motor Company was planning to use "open source" on, I think, 33,000 desktops. They did not say which open source distro.
http://www.mandrakeforum.com/article.php?sid=1064&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0 is a page that links you to the FMC decision to use open source on all desktops, though there is a claim it can't be found..
Basically, if you look at the linux-mandrake URL every day, and follow the links, you will soon find a lot of info on this topic.
Tip: if you find something really hot, shift-left-click on the link, to save it to HD, then you can show it later. I tried hard to find the FMC announcement, and failed, so learn by my mistake.
