Tomorrow, I will be moving into my girlfriends place for a week. she has a cable modem and so do i. I have two NIC's in my comp right now, and my question is:
is it possible to run both modems at the same time, therefore doubling your speed?
I know you can do it with modems, i was just wondering about ethernet cards. Also, is this easy to setup under LINUX as well as Windows? and what will i have to do?

if there is a NHF or an RFC or something about this, direct me there please.. (sorry i didn't check first, but it's an unconventional topic, therefore, before searching, i wanted to know if it was possible.)

i think the limiting factor is the cable line itself, not the cable modem box, so even if it was possible , i don't think you would gain anything

but i could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/frown.gif
