SuSE 7.0 + GeForce 2 GTS ....... HOW???

I finally figured out my problems, my video card! I went out and purchased SuSE 7.0 and I found I had the same problem so I swapped out the card for a crap ATI Mach64 card. Installation went fine but now I can't get the drivers for my geforce card to load! I have tried loading the 0.9-6 and the 0.9-5 version of the rpm drivers and I get the same message about needing kernel 2.2.0. This distro comes with kernel 2.2.17 Please someone Help!!!
