uhh... can someone plz take me through the process of installing geforce drivers (from src)? i'm a lil stuck on 8.0, its giving me more probs than usual for this driver, so anybody up to the task? btw i'm going away for the weekend so if u respond and i dont for awhile its because i havent gotten back to try what u said, all the help ya'll can offer is appreciated!

You should have tried searching the forums for NVIDIA driver install, or something like that. I know someone posted a NVIDIA driver install NHF in the "How I did it!" Forum, so you could check that to see if it helps at all. Other than that, try reading through the README file and followind the instructions there.

As always....
You do need to have the kernel source installed whenever compiling hardware drivers/modules.
If /usr/src/linux does not exist, then install the kernel-source rpm package from your Redhat cd.

Yeah, if that NHF doesn't help, let me know what isn't working with it, and I'll edit the NHF.
