KDE/Konqueror clean up?

I've been running RH7.2 with KDE for awhile now and suddenly, Konqueror as an ftp client is really, really slow. This just started happening this week and it made me wonder, are there temp files or stuff like that to clean up anywhere?

I did try command line ftp, but it timed out. Since I don't know the linux lingo yet, I don't know where/how to ask. :confused:
