Hey all, I'm running Mandrake 8.0 using KDE (doesn't matter) and I've noticed that after a few hours of locking the screen (activating screensaver) Your internet connection is shut off! It sounds like a security feature so that unauthorized connections are not made while your computer is idle and not being used, but it sucks when you want to leave Gaim on 24/7 and receive email every minute. I'm not sure if it disconnects network access too, I haven't made any networking connections besides to the internet. By the way, all my internet and networking settings have always worked great in Linux and Windows, this is the only problem I've had.
Has anyone else noticed the same thing or have a solution? I'd love to hear about it.
