how to install .tar file that has a bin in it?

Ive read the nhf's and cant find anywhere how to install this file. It is TridiaVnc. Im having problems with redhats included vncserver by att so i am going to install this other one and see if i can get it working. I opened the tar file in windows and there is just a bin file in it. Ive extracted it in redhat but cant do a ./configure. Please help!

you've untarred it in redhat yes?

what you need to do with bin files is

./filename.bin

its an exectuable in its own right

Thank you, but ive figured out my problem with vncserver in redhat. Im having a bit of a firewall issue. If i flush i can get in. Now i just need to figure out how to get in with the firewall on and what chains will work. Nothing else but vncserver and https has this problem. hmm
