i was wondering if this had been invented yet...

i was going to install redhat 6.2 today, and i had to go to work, and i was wondering if there was some boot disk i could boot from that would connect to the net using ssh, and let me login to setup redhat... or any other distro... like install linux from a remote computer..

is this possible? i might try to learn how to program if it's not... any ideas on how to do it?

I doubt that red hat has that capability built in, but you might be able to hack their boot disk to do it. It's not that hard, really. Just add the daemons you need, and the net driver, and walla! Although I just can't seem to figure out why you would really want to do that, unless it's the pure joy of doing something noone else has done before...
