Backup software

At home I have a Windows 2000 server with a HP Travan tapestreamer.
It's a Celeron 466, 256 MB, 9 GB SCSI HD.
I would like to migrate to Linux.

For my backups I use the Veritas BackupExec software.

Can somebody advise wich (free!) backupsoftware I can use that has similar functions as the Windows 2000 Veritas software?

I don't know anything about the functions but you could look at Mondo (http://www.microwerks.net/~hugo/). It's been recommended elsewhere as good back up software.
