I'm building a linux based firewall. I'm using a Cyrix 660mhz processor and a slim profile case. My question is, what should I use to share the connection? I have more than one computer so it'd have to be a router or hub attached to the firewall, then on to the actual computers. Am I going to have any problems with connections on either one? It doesn't make all that much difference for me, but I've told some of my friends what I'm doing and they've asked me to build one for them to, so I want to make sure I give them something that'll work. TIA.

Two NIC Cards in your Linux firewall. One goes straight to your internet connection and nothing else. (otherwise it defeats the purpose of having a firewall, surely.) The other NIC card goes to a hub or switch (take your pick. They each have advantages.), which your other computers plug into. If you are looking for a good Linux-based firewall, try FloppyFW at http://zelow.no/floppyfw
