Why would it want to do that other than Windows is being evil as usual? It only wants to format my second linux partion. I have it mounted as /var.

A little more info...
1. Your sig says you use Win ME and Win 2k; which version wants to format your /var partition?
2. What are trying to do that involves partitioning?
3. Post your partitioning scheme for Win and Linux.

I knew I forgot something, forgive me :D
Only WinME want's to format it. Actually it sees it as a partion. I removed it from view with TweakUI but once in awhile it comes up when installing new programs.
I have linux installed beyond the 1024th cylinder on both linux partions on two differnt hard drives.
