I have downloaded the lexmark linux driver from their website. What do I do now to install. (Mandr. 9.0 didn't auto install it)

I will need to spend a lot of time getting familiar with the site. I don't know how to "unzip" the file I have. I think it will self-install once I do that. mdwatts 10-27-2002, 05:36 AM If the z32 predates the Mandrake 9.0 release, I would think they already include drivers for that printer. I always use the Printer Setup Wizard in the KDE Control Center. KDE Control Center/System/Printing Manager Then I make sure both the CUPS Line Printer Daemon and Print Server (CUPS) services are both enabled. Have you checked to see if Mandrake has any online documentation to help with setting up printers with their distro? They should have some. justlinux.com
