Hey everybody,

Got a strange one.

Server is running RH 6.2, client is running RH 7.3. Both are using the RPC and NFS software included by Red Hat.

When I try to mount the shared directory to my client's filesystem, the server crashes (ie. locked up solidly). The client eventually times out with an RPC error.

I've had it work before, so I'm not sure what's wrong.

Note that starting the NFS software at either side isn't the problem; the server hangs only when I attempt to mount the client.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I know almost nothing about how NFS works, and it's embarrassing to have to hit the reset button on my server.
