I have ftp'd the entire 7.0 distribution of SuSE Linux (in suse/current/suse) with the intent to install from hard disk.
My question is this: Would a fresh install work if I also ftp'd the contents of /suse/update/7.0 and 7.1, placing the updated files over top of the original suse distribution?
I figure that if this is possible, I can install the entire 7.1 package with the latest kernel and updates from the start.
