kernel - about & hacking

hi

i think there is a serious need to include another forum about "kernel - about & hacking" coz its true that most undocu,ented thing in Linux environment is the kernel (despite many efforts) due to its very large size.

I accept that people can get information from other forums too, but looking for one forum when u need to get know about networking related kernel stuff and looking into another when u need some other info is not a good idea.

i think thats best to make it all in one forum, so everyone needing information can post to the same forum.

i m sending this, coz i have to do this too. i needed information about doing something-something to linux kernel, and i had to (yeah, i had to) browse around into 5 or 6 forums at LNO.

i think LNO administration would take it positively

Did you try a forum search (top third button from the right)?

Since vBulletin was upgraded to 2.2.7 (now 2.2.8), the forum search works great and is quite fast.

Give it a try and see if it helps.

thats the point, why should one go and make searches and then find some irrelevant results along with.

when there is a forum for Networking and another for another for some other specific reason, why cant be there a seperate forum for special Linux Kernel howtos and hacking, i think this will be great help for new programmers and hackers, like me...
