The code below forms a sine wave a plays it through /dev/dsp. For some reason, it cannot play samples shorter than 8192 samples. (I am porting a morse code program and trying to get it to make sort beeps). OS is RedHat 7.3 - resumably this is opensound built in to the kernel. Any ideas? - Thanks in advance.
