Hi,
I have Mandrake 9.0 installed. When I first login with KDE, I hear the startup music. Then I logged in with Gnome. After that I tried logging in with KDE and I don't hear the startup music. I can play other music files. Is there a way I can set the startup music in KDE?

Thanks,

George.

Cybr099,
I could not find the event sounds in the control panel. I am attaching a screen shot of my control center. Could you please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

George.

I don't have the 'System Notifications' option in my control panel. Does anybody know how I can get it?

Wallex - Thanks for the screenshot

On Mandrake 9.1 I had to look under Look and Feel to find System Notifications. There are a lof of sounds available for a lott of system events. Now to load on my "favorite" sounds...
