Greetings and saluations! I have some old DOS games that I would like to play, however, I really don't want to have to boot up into Windows to play them. I was wondering if someone could recommend a good DOS emulator that's not too hard to set up that would let you play DOS games (stuff like Pirates!, SimCity 2000, etc.)? Thanks :).

FreeDOS hates me. I'm using the Debian recommended FreeDOS images, and I can't even read a CD! Grr...I have a copy of DR-DOS, but I can't find my DR-DOS boot disk!

I downloaded the dosemu packages from their sourceforge website, and it was really easy to set up and start using. The only problem I'm having is that the built-in mouse support stinks and is virtually unusable, and I'm trying to find some other way to get the mouse working. I know that there have been some questions about getting DR-DOS to work with dosemu, so I'm happy to provide this link:

The nice folks at the website have provided a hdimage of DR-DOS 7.03 to work with dosemu.
