Just installed mandrake 7.2 and I have an unusual problem -- the mouse cursor is the time clock -- constantly --

Where can I control pointer appearance --

If it makes a difference,I'm using a logitech USB optical 3 buttom w/wheel plugged into the ps/2 port through a converter

Hrmmm...check out DrakConf? Just throwing it up to the wind. Is your hd running while this is happening? The clock is the equivalent of the hourglass in windows, telling you that the system is busy.
