Honestly, I don't go to any other sites than here, I get all the answers I need from either here or the distro-specific homepage. But, try this link and let us know what you find:

This is the only one Ive posted to where you get a reply, the rest Ive seen have alot of posts but no replies to the post.

I agree. I post here at 4:30am PST (when I start work) and by the time I go home (2pm PST) I've had many posts and at least a few options to go on.

Tek Tips SUCK. Ive posted there at least five times and never got 1, not 1 response back. There just must not be the same participation there.

This forum is far and away the best out there. I've posted other places, and the silence was deafening. When I've had FreeBSD questions, I get better responses here than at BSDvault! I think there's just a ton of people here, so you're odds of getting an (accurate) answer are better.When I've got questions, I search Google, search LNO's NHF, then (if necessary) post here. ;)

I used to visit tek-tips, but I'd post a question and woulnd't get a response for weeks. So I switched over here.

from what i can tell, tek-tips seems to be a VERY microsoft oriented forum... (i'm subscribed to PostgreSQL, Apache, IIS, ASP and Python, plus a some more) all the MS-based forums get a lot of action... i guess it's because MS based technologies cause a lot of problems :)
