I need to know what mandrake's /ect/fstab file looks like so I can mount my CDROM like how Mandrake does it I don't like the way RedHat has the cdrom setup. Thankyou!

The one for mounting my cdrom looks like :

/dev/scd1 /mnt/cdrom supermount fs=iso9660,dev=/dev/scd1 0 0

You would have to have supermount patched into your kernel for that to work. I don't think RedHat typically sets up the kernel for supermount.

Yeah, I don't think so either. I know supermount comes defalt with Mandrake8, but if you recompile your kernel, then you will lose the default ability to use supermount.

Yeah, I know it didn't work.. Oh well I will live with it I guess :) thanks anyway though
