Modem dials & connects but......

I still have no internet. I'm using KPPP in Drake 8.0. The modem dials out fine, says its connected, but the browsers gets nothing. Any thoughts? My ISP is starpower if that helps anyone.

It's a DNS problem, I'd say. Can you get your ISP's Domain Name Server addresses (usually two)? If so, edit your /etc/resolv.conf file:

search yourisp.net
nameserver xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
nameserver yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy
