I want to install slackware on a 233mhz with 32 RAM. It has a broken floppy drive and no way to connect to the internet. Although the CD rom still werks. My question is, how many of the Iso images do i need to download to do a minimal install--i saw there's 3. My intentions for this laptop are in developing and testing simple C language programs for school. Could someone please suggest the best course of action for me.

The first install image should be enough to get you going. You can always download single packages if you need anything that the install iso image does not include.

For the entire install, the first cd is all that's needed. The second cd has extras - commonly called the contrib cd. The third has all the sources. First cd is it.

Definitely, definitely it. Definitely. Kmart sucks.
