I have just upgraded to RH 8, and I have never had this trouble with samba before. I have a drive on a win2k machine that I would like to mount using samba from my Linux machine. When I try to mount it, I use this command: smbmount //Cj3206607-a/c /home/tim/shares/yokod -o username=XXXXX,password=XXXXX
this always worked in the past, but now I get the following error
Error connecting to xx.xx.xxx.xx (Operation already in progress)
1533: Connection to Cj3206607-a failed
Everything was great until the upgrade to 8.0. The really wierd thing about it, and the thing that has me the most confused, is that I have another computer running win2k and I am able to connect to it with samba, and I am also able to use that machine to connect to the one that is giving me the trouble. I just can't get Linux to talk to it. Any suggestions?
