Lilo and the 1024 barrier

has anybody tried to install Linux above the 1024th cylinder using the latest lilo, and is it possible.

if it is, then how can I use the latest lilo with my Redhat 7.1 installation

Haven't tried, but I believe it is.

Yes, LILO can now be installed above 1024. Unsure about RH, don't use it myself.

RH 7.1 does it just fine, Slack 7.1, Latest Suse, Debain 2.2.3 and Mandrake 7.0. HTH
