What browser are you using? Microsoft recently revamped HotMail and changed the look and functionality. I have no problems with Mozilla 0.9.x, but with Opera 5.0 I get a 'Browser Limitations' warning telling me I will be limited in what I can do if I sign in using my current browser. I can still sign in and access my email (junk mail) but cant delete messages and a few other things dont work as well. sad_b0i 08-08-2001, 11:19 AM sorry about lack of info...always forgetting that anywho... using mandrake 8 and konqueror...with shared DSL connection going through a proxy server running analogX... Malakin 08-08-2001, 06:00 PM Konqueror 2.1.1 and Mozilla 0.9.3 are logging in fine for me... I'd guess it has something to do with your shared net connection. Oh and I'm also using MDK 8 [ 08 August 2001: Message edited by: idealego ] TacKat 08-08-2001, 06:06 PM I can get there fine with Opera 5 and 'Drake 8. The only problem I have is that I have to actually look at an e-mail to delete it as the checkbox isn't recognized. Life's just so hard ya know? YaRness 08-08-2001, 06:50 PM i get in fine with mozilla, no functionality lost. that "browser limitation" message is usually bogus; i get it because i only give very limited access to cookies. mychl 08-08-2001, 08:24 PM Make sure that port 443 is open, thats what port the Secure Socket Layer is on, and hotmail uses that....good luck. justlinux.com
