windows media player plugins?

Hi, first off thanks for the help I have recieved so far it seems that my attempt at linux this time round is going much better..... to the point where i am using it more than windows at the moment :cool:

Now for another question... is it possible to play windows media player files on linux? is there a plugin that i can use? I have managed to get my system setup to play most media clips that i've needed so far, but haven't managed to set it up to play windows media clips so any help in doing this would be appreciated...

www.codeweavers.com/products check that out and look at the crossover plugin program they have a trial version that you can run the full version is 25 bucks I very rarely buy software but I just thought this was the coolest thing, so I bought it.
