Hi guys i'm a noobie trying to join the ranks of the elite (unix/linux users =P) Here's my problem:

I have a Raid-0 (stripping) partition using 2 Maxtor 40GB's with Windows 2k installed already. I have an extra empty 40gb western digital i can partition freely but is not connected yet. My goal is to have a duel boot over my Windows2k and boot into RedHat that will be my D: drive. How would i do this?

Also, would there be anything wrong with these specs? I couldn't find my motherboard on the RedHat list. Here are my Specs:

Abit AT7-Raid KT333
AMD Athon XP 2100+
2xMaxtor Ata133 40GB (Raid-0)
HPT374 UDMA/ATA133
unpartitioned Western Digital 40GB
Asus NVidia GForce4 Ti 4400

Thanks in Advance,
-The Duck
(p.s. feels good to list out techinical crap =P hehe)

ntt.

I can't see that you'd have any problems there - you should just be able to install RedHat on the empty disk straight off, and the hardware sounds fine.

Have a read of my article on this exact subject which can be found here:
