Does it matter which I use? I used the 80 minutes, 700 MB CD's to burn ISOs. Could that be why I am having trouble installing both red hat and mandrake on my system??

FoBoT 07-18-2001, 05:32 PM it would only matter if the .iso won't fit onto the smaller 650MB cdr, i can't remember which one, but an .iso i downloaded a few weeks ago was something like 675mb, so it had to go onto a 700MB cdr if you got it to burn and it was a good burn with a good .iso, you are probably facing other problems MandK_10 07-18-2001, 09:07 PM The only distro that I have found with an ISO that need a larger disk is Peanut-large. And remember, if you are using a ftp tool and you see file sizes like 666324992, this is bytes, 1024 bytes in kbyte and 1024kbytes in mbyte, thus 635Mbyte. justlinux.com
