I'm slowly fine tuning linux to be completely customized. I figured out how to change the gnome splash screen and have gdm greeter for the login. Now I want to change that boring blue backgroung that pops up when lilo starts and ask what image to boot. It then keeps that same image up while I see my dives being mounted and services started. How do I put a custom image in for that background. If there isn't a place in the config file, does anyone know where that image file is?(I could copy over it with my image)
Thx

That image is stored under /boot (most of the time). You can't just plug in any image though. It needs to have a special format. Here's a page (http://www.13thfloor.at/Software/lilo-splash/) that describes how to make these pictures with The Gimp.
