Im looking for some software that can filter out undesirable websites(porn, warez, etc), running on a proxy server.
Ive been looking at Squid Guard (http://www.squidguard.org/faq/) running on the Squid proxy (http://www.squid-cache.org/) . Is this the best way to go? I dont want to use any caching but want to be able to stop all traffic that isnt for the web(ftp, etc). All requests are sent to a hardware firewall after the proxy.
Is it possible to set it up to email reports to an administrator? When a blocked page is accessed, top web users and sites for the day. That sort of thing.
