Linux Mandrake 7.2 , I recently did a Mandrake software update and there where some updated shared user resource rpms that got installed. So after the installation. When i log into my user (jankz0r) trying to use the command 'SU' gives this error.

[jankz0r@localhost /root]$ su
su: error in loading shared libraries: libxalflaunch.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
[jankz0r@localhost /root]$

I have no clue whats going on. And I need to beable to login as jankz0r and just 'SU' for a few commands to install modules for my NIC card then close the terminal. The way it is now i have to log in as root to use 'INSMOD' for those driver modules. Where before this happened, I could log in as jankz0r and 'SU' for the few commands, then close the terminal. Hence im not running around on the internet logged in as root. Any help is welcome.

Try running 'ldconfig'
