Silly, question, but if i compile support for old apple ][ dos , I know i can read the disc, but can i write in apple dos also????

BTW, I am new to LINUX

I'm not sure what you mean. What do you mean by "write in apple dos" ??

do you mean can you write to an apple dos disk? you should be able to. Linux filesystem support can read and write.

that said, I have no experience with the apple dos filesystem, so....

yes that is it! I wish to renew some of my old apple software for giggles and grins. Was wondering if i forund a image, if i could write it to directly, without extra software. I've heard about ap2222 and other progs which allow writes over a parallel cable or null modem

just thoug it would be simpler this way
