three questions

like i said, three questions, unrelated:

1) im having odd font errors, in things like man pages and mc where there are supposed to be blank spaces i get "a" with a hat accent and two box-y thingies. whats up?

2) i do a text login which is all nice and good, but how do i make grub all nice a pretty? like get rid of the default redhat screen.

3) im running fluxbox so i dont get all the little gnome configuration tools on any particular menu. they are, however, all loaded, is there a nice way to make them appear on my flux menu?

1) what terminal are you using? konsole, eterm, aterm, xterm, etc..

2) you can use kdm, gdm, xdm and get some nice themes from kde-look.org for kdm, art.gnome.org for gdm, and xdm is just plain ugly, oh and for grub, there is a splashimage link in your menu.lst file , mine is in /boot dir, but redhat prolly put everything on / so look around for that file.

3) my latest fluxbox install automagically added gnome and kde menus, so check to make sure you have the latest fluxbox.
