Stop KDE!

I wanted to use Konqueror as a web browser/file manager so i installed KDE base and a couple of other necesarry libs to resollve dependencies. Now instead of running just enlightenment when i startx, the whole KDE startx up as well. How do i stop this. I don't want KDE or Gnome, just a plain window manager..

do you use .xinitrc in your home directory?
or you just use the default xinit, probably when you installed KDE its overwrite your default xinit
just create a new .xinitrc in your home dir
and put this in it
exec enlightenment

just use whatever window manager you like
then, when you want to use konqueror, type 'konqueror' in a terminal
i use it as a file manager/browser in blackbox...
