One of my freinds downloaded the iso image for suse 7.0.We download rawwrite and the boot disk from suse ftp site.We made the boot disk.We tried to install from the iso image that he downloaded. It said it could not never find a valid iso image file.I started looking around and found that most people burn the is o image to a cd.We dont have a burner though.I think that I have heard people doing it with burning it to a cd but I am not sure.If anyone knows how to do it without burning it I would be most gratefull.

Thank You,

you'd mount the iso on loopback device...

not sure if this would work for suse (ie, i don't know the suse setup scripts and i'm not sure if the suse bootdisk kernel has loopback enabled under additional block devices but i'd assume they would as its a default option in modern kernels). this is how i did it a while ago with slack ...

hope this helps...
