I don't know what could have happened in my system... (except that of late I've tried to install the xfstt and Gnome, but I am still downloading and installing the packages for that), but today when I booted into my manager, Gkrellm would segfault whenever I run it! Gee... 'segmentation fault' is not the most descriptive message ever... it kinda sounds like a 'windows fatal exception' to me. Anyway.. I am not sure what to do to fix this situation.. I just installed gkrellm 2.0 and that did not help... any suggestions of where to start looking?

Oh guess what... it was the theme I was using the one that made it segfault! Strangely enough.. there was no way to change the theme from the command line, so I had to rename the theme directory to work around the problem. This wouldn't be so bad if it weren't because.. the theme that makes it segfault is the theme I worked so hard on! I am not sure why it makes gkrellm segfault.. but you can bet I'll fix it, I'll get my theme back!

EDIT: Well guess why it kept seg-faulting? The krell image... for some reason if the krell image was 'big', it would make gkrellm segfault. I am redesigning my theme to now use smaller images (bar mode instead of left expand), so hopefully I won't have the same problem again. I am not sure why it suddenly started segfaulting, though... now I use gkrellm2.0, but I had that problem ever since before upgrading.. probably has to do with some of the packages I installed before...
