Help!
I just compiled kernel 2.4.1 from kernel.org I am running reiserfs and compiled the new kernel for use with reiserfs. All went well this time, but now after altering my lilo.conf I typed: lilo to ensure it worked and I got...

Added windows *
Added linux-new
Added Linux
Added failsafe
Fatal: Partition entry not found.

What did I do wrong, or possibly forget to do.

Any help would be appreciated.

well this time I am able to answer my own question... It was the floppy option that Mandrake originally put in my LILO that caused this error, once I deleted it everything worked great! I hope this can help save someone elses hair as I was pulling mine out....
