Can someone please tell me howto setup an MX record in debian?

What are you trying to accomplish, exactly? Your post gave extremely little information.

I assume you've decided you want to run your own DNS server. I assume you're going to use BIND for this. The answer then becomes: the same way you set up an MX record in BIND in any other distribution. But without knowing what you've done so far: ie. installing BIND, setting up your zone file, etc., there's very little I can go on.
