OK, I've got Slack working on my notebook. I've almost got X configured. I can load X but it only loads in 640x480 256. My notebook will go up to 800x600 64K. When running xf86config I made sure to select the appropriate video modes and color depths but it will not allow me to use the ctl-alt-+. If I try to exclude 640x480 out of the /etx/XF86Config file I get errors. Can anyone help?

Try installing the VGA16 server, XF86Setup, and the X server your card needs. Run XF86Setup - it should go with the higher resolution as a default.

If you have the CD available can you e-mail me the packages I need. I don't have my Slack CD with me at work with my notebook.
