xmms suddenly stopped loading!!

i dont know how that happened?

when i logged on today, i noticed that my playlist was missing, although xmms said it was on. so i restarted xmms, however, it froze.

it didnt give me any errors. it just froze and stood there? whiped out my .xmms folder, but that didnt help.

can anyone help?

try it as a different user. my be some random setting you have. though it would be really odd.

Have you tried running xmms at the commandline/console to see if there are any errors?

i usually do that when a program doesnt want to run.

no errors whatsoever. it loads it. it displays it when i type ps ax. put it doesnt load (completely anyway), so i cannot see it, and cannot use it (and E-xmms.epplet stops responding). it's not Enlightenment's fault, cause i tried it under kde and gnome as well.
