Hi,

Why is this place so empty???

Anyway, I have a problem. I just recently formatted my HD so as to install WIN 2000 on. As a result, LILO is gone, and I cannot boot up linux. (I was dual boot linux with Win 98 before)

As lazy as I am, I did not make a linux boot disk, and so I have no way of booting up linux again.

Is there any other way of installing LILO without using the boot disk? I don't want to re-install linux, although there is not very important data sitting in linux right now.

The only major trouble with reinstallation would be the drivers set-up (which is quite a pain in the a$$)

If anyone have any other idea, please post. I am greatly appreciated.

Currently I have a new computer which I want to install linux on. Maybe after installing, I can create the boot disk, and then use it to reinstall LILO back in the other one.

Would this way work?

Thank you
