How can i Install a USB External Harddrive?

Hi, i have just installed linux (redhat v8.0) for the first time i and would like to access my external usb harddrive...but i have no idea how to! the harddrive's file system is "fat". if you have any suggetions i would really apreaciate them. thanks.

I would have thought someone might have answered by now. Sorry about that.

Try searching Google for Linux ( www.google.com/linux ) for i.e. 'USB external harddrive' and you should find enough info to get you going.

www.linux-usb.org should also have documentation that tells you what modules are required and how to mount the drive.
