apt-get = resumes ??

does apt-get wait until reconnect to finish if you get disconnected.

I get disconnect after being on for 2hrs on the money and have it setup to reconnect after disconnect. Will apt-get wait then resume for this??

apt is a smart kind of fella and will pick up where it left off.

It's been hit and miss for me.
Yes, it always picks up where it left off but sometimes it does it on it's own (with an automatic redial on disconnect) and sometimes I need to restart the apt-get process manually. But, again, it just picks up where it left off last.

That is where the --fix-missing option comes in. If you get cut off by a connection and it times out the install use this option to start it from where it left off. Works everytime!
