When using GoZilla in Winblows (www.gozilla.com) I can download iso's, programs at average speeds of 160 k/s, even hit 198 for about 10 whole seconds... And I have heard friends (Windows users) say they have registry tweaks that greatly improve speeds. I was wondering if there was anything similar for Linux, anything I can tweak that might boost my speed. In Netscape my average download speed (in Linux seems to be about 100-120... not bad but lower than IE or GoZilla. I tried Craig's speed improvement idea ( Download an entire Debian CD image in under 30 seconds. (http://www.linuxnewbie.org/ubb/Forum12/HTML/000392.html) ), but lets say my pasting skills are lacking...

Registry tweaks are useful for win9x since it's networking is very slow. win2k doesn't have that problem and therefore registry tweaks aren't needed, this is also the case for Linux. Networking in Linux is very fast.
GoZilla does a few things that can speed up downloads.
GoZilla keeps a database of sites where files can be downloaded from and chooses the fastest site for you, if you download a copy of a file from a friends web server through gozilla that url will actually be added to the gozilla database making it available to everyone else who uses gozilla even though you didn't tell it to and nobody else in the world knew it existed until this point. Most people don't know this.
I *think* gozilla also breaks up files into several pieces and downloads them simultaneously. You may have noticed that you may only get say 100K/second downloading a single file from a site but if you start 3 downloads to the same site the combined transfer rate might be 180K/second or so. This would be done through pretending it's actually doing file resumes with all but the first piece of the file. Like I said though I'm not sure if it actually does this but I know some software out there that does and this would only be logical.
I'm not aware of anything like gozilla for linux.

Just remember GoZilla is spyware.
I keeps track of what you do and reports back so they can create and sell profile data.
Another reason "free" software isn't always better. They need to get paid somehow.
