I'm having problems with my kdm, and I need to run XF86Setup to reset everything (I got this information from the Corel Linux Newsgroup). When I run XF86Setup, I'm asked if I want to use the current XF86Config file (y/n). My question is, if I say no, will it create a new file automatically? Or will I have to provide one? I'm new to *NIX, and am unsure about how to proceed. Thanks!

Don't use your current one as a config, and carry on.

It will create a new /etc/XF86Config so no, you don't have to specify the filename. Your existing XF86Config will be renamed to /etc/XF86Config.bak
