I dont know if its just my computer, but i find mandrake 7.2 a bit less than stable. I really love what linux is capable of, i think its incredable. But about 1/5 of the times i go to log out, it plays the triumphant logout sound but then nothing happens. I try closing everything, and still nothing happens, i try again-still. I guess its a bug, but then i have to turn off my computer which i suspect is very harmful to a linux system- o yea and the command line doesnt work either. Also it sort of spazzes on me every once in a while, my mouse goes into slow motion and windows start shaking around, one time it actualy felt like someone else was moving my mouse and playing a scary little game with me, i think this is unlikely but i couldnt get control of my mouse and it was actualy opening files?? Other times mandrake spazzes out and closes everything i had been working on. I had upgraded from 7.1 which was stable enough, and i really like the new features of 7.2
I dont think i would like to switch operating systems again. Any insite?

try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Backspace when you can't log out, & KDE can be slightly buggy, the version that came with the Wal-mart box needs to be updated - use Mandrake update.
