I didn't really like the AIM clients that came with RH 7.3 (tried gaim and kit) as much as the AIM client I'm used to in Windows, so I went to aol.com and got their rpm for RedHat. Here's what happens when I try installing it...
[root@localhost downloads]# rpm -i aim-1.5.234-1.i386.rpm
error: unpacking of archive failed on file /usr/local/lib/aim/CoolBos.so.1;3da36 534: cpio: read
I also tried "rpm -Uvh..." but get the same error. Any ideas?
