How do you stop services from starting at bootup in Mandrake 8.0? In Redhat 6.2 I would just comment them out in the init.d file. Or was it the inetd file. It has been a little while.
Thanks

You just select the bottom option (out of the 5 initial ones, I forgot the name) and then choose services. It gives you the option to start stop or select whether or not it starts at boot time. Easier than editing. justlinux.com
