Gentoo Installation Problem

Hi there,

I have some problems installing gentoo into my laptop.

My laptop has an ethernet card of Intel Pro/100 ve and i cant set up the network so i can go on with the installation procedure.

I cant do modprobe and aint do antyhing

Something else : I have a server in my house on windows xp pro and my laptop is connected with that through LAN and its always online with ADSL.

What should i do ? ? ?
